Miss the Rapture?

My cousin wrote a pretty awesome blog about the predictions for this weekend. Since I don’t believe in reinventing the wheel, I’m going to direct you to her site so you can read it there. 🙂

May 21, 2011 – NOT the End of the World

Key points (IMO):

  • No one knows when the Rapture will happen
  • Anyone who says they know is lying
  • Live each day like it’s your last
  • Don’t tar all Christians with the same brush used on this prediction

I’m not gonna preach to a brilliant professional writer about the correct use of “when” and “if”, but it does itch me to do so. Not for grammatical reasons though 😉

Thanks for the compliment, Thurth! But now I’m wondering what you meant by “when” vs. “if”.

mjkj, my cousin is pretty awesome. You should be sure to subscribe to her blog!

Sorry, I only now saw this (in a wordpress thread list). In case you’re still wondering, the argument would be a theological one, not a grammatical one, me not really believing in rapture. So “correct” would be: No one knows IF the rapture will happen.

I probably felt a bit cocky at the time.
