Why “Rose’s Ink Well”?

I enjoy multi-purpose items and things that carry meanings beyond the obvious. The Bible frequently uses the imagery of water and sources of water to refer to God and the support that He provides us. “… a spring that never fails…” is a promise that God will always give us what we need.

I am a writer of fiction and occasional prose. While I seem to be endlessly creative, I know where my help comes from, and I don’t want to forget that. So, I surround myself with things to remind me.  Hence, the well from which I draw the “ink” used to write all these things makes a snazzy blog title.
